RV, Royston Vasey operates several gaming servers ranging from Counter Strike 1.6 to Valve Software's latest on line FPS TF2.

Our Servers

Royston Vasey is a community founded around the Valve game of TFC. It started off as 1 TFC game server many moons ago run on a server within the company Orange, and developed into its current incarnation. We have 2 dedicated servers, a windows 2003 server edition and a Linux server. The windows server is powered by a quad core2 CPU, and the Linux server is powered by a dual xeon CPU configuration. If you need to know the specifics of each server then feel free to ask on our forums and your questions will be answered.

Current history

Both servers are hosted at BlueSquare datacenter in Maidenhead, Berkshire. This is the largest datacenter outside the M25 area in the UK, and offer excellent network connectivity. Our servers are on their own network (WWW.RoystonVasey.org just whois one of the two IP addresses we have) within BlueSquare datacenter, providing us with optimum gaming latency and end user improved experience.

In the above picture from TF2 you can see a Heavy Weapons guy, and he looks hawt, in a non gay way.
